Layli Miller-Muro is an internationally recognized entrepreneur, social impact executive, human rights expert, and board member. She is currently a Principal at Miller-Muro Consulting where she works with leaders and organizations to help them operationalize their values, develop their ESG strategies, and prosper with purpose. She is also a member of APCO’s International Advisory Council, which is comprised of internationally experienced leaders, who have come together to offer APCO Worldwide’s clients expert counsel to address the toughest challenges and biggest opportunities facing their organizations.
Trained as a corporate attorney, Layli served as CEO of a social impact organization for 20 years, which she scaled to $24M. Layli was included in Goldman Sachs's 2012 inaugural list of the Top 100 Most Innovative Entrepreneurs and named by Newsweek Magazine as one of the 150 Most Fearless Women in the World. She has appeared in numerous news outlets including CNN, Fox News, NPR, PBS, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.
Layli is also a frequent lecturer and trainer, at both corporate and global venues, including the United Nations; Women of the World Summit; TEDx; Paypal; Etsy; and others.
