As Director of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Toby oversees the day-to-day operations of Skillsoft’s sustainability efforts. With nearly twenty years working in the areas of governance, sustainability, compliance and corporate investigations, Toby strives to blend his professional expertise with that of a personal passion; advocating for greater accountability and corporate citizenship. Early in his career, Toby worked as a forensic accountant, helping both companies and regulators sort through the details of complex financial puzzles and corporate disclosures. Toby has spent the last 15 years in advisory roles helping organizations build robust ethics and compliance programs; including, specifically, in the areas of climate and social impact, speak-up culture and other people-first organizational initiatives.
