Organizations collect the personal information of their customers and prospects for a variety of commercial reasons. Companies serving customers in the European Union have particularly stringent legal obligations concerning the collection and use of personal information under the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR. This course provides an overview of consumers’ rights under the GDPR as well as the obligations imposed on companies that collect personal information.
