First aid doesn't just apply to emergency situations. Sometimes it can be applied to ones own mental health to prevent any further type of danger to the individual or those around them. This course equips learners with essential skills to offer first-response support for mental health crises in the workplace. Participants will learn active listening, identify verbal and nonverbal distress signals, and learn to guide affected individuals to professional resources, with a critical focus on addressing suicidal thoughts effectively and compassionately.The course was developed and reviewed with subject matter support provided by certified subject matter experts and industry professionals.
