Microsoft Teams has numerous lifecycle and governance capabilities and features that an organization can use for successful implementations. In this course, you'll learn how to create and manage templates in Teams using the admin center. Templates provide a predefined team structure that can enable better overall consistency across the organization. You'll then learn how to set up policies for Microsoft 365 group creation, and configure Microsoft 365 groups, expiration policies, and naming policies. Lastly, you'll learn how to archive, unarchive, restore, and delete a team in Microsoft Teams. This course is one of several that will help prepare learners for the MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams certification exam.

4m 26sYou’ll learn how to use Teams templates. Teams templates save you time and effort by applying a Preset definition to the team, as opposed to having to configure definitions manually. The design of the template reflects your needs. You can create templates from scratch, or use pre-existing templates that can't be edited or deleted. They can be used to create a team directly or to create a new custom template that can be further customized.
