Kubernetes clusters use internal network communication methods to allow seamless communication between pods, even when pod replicas are spread across cluster nodes. Proper understanding and management of cluster networking are essential for maintaining high availability, security, and performance of containerized applications in a Kubernetes environment. In this course, discover how Kubernetes cluster network components work to allow network communication using Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Next, you will investigate the relevance of the Container Network Interface (CNI) configuration and the role of CoreDNS within the cluster. Then, explore various types of Kubernetes services that allow network connectivity such as ClusterIP, NodePort, and LoadBalancer. Finally, you will work with an ingress controller and configure Kubernetes network policies. This course can be used to prepare for the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam.
