Data privacy is at the forefront of IT security priorities. Knowledge of the standards and tools involved is essential in employment as a certified SysOps admin. In this course, you'll recognize the various types of personally identifiable information (PII), identify the security standards and regulations, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001, and classify firewall types. Next, you'll deploy a web application firewall and use various AWS security options, such as Amazon Inspector, Trusted Advisor, GuardDuty, and AWS Security Hub. You'll learn how to enable data classification using Amazon Macie, and lastly, you'll encrypt S3 buckets using the GUI, CLI, and PowerShell.
