Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is a cloud storage solution frequently used by systems administrators in systems operations roles. In this course, you'll explore the purpose and features of S3 before learning how to create S3 buckets using the GUI, CLI, and PowerShell. Next, you'll configure various S3 bucket settings, such as versioning, lifecycle policies, and data storage tiers. You'll learn how to work with S3 Transfer Acceleration, Glacier storage, public access, object locking, and the Storage Gateway. You'll then learn to manage Elastic Block Store (EBS) volumes using the GUI, CLI, and PowerShell. Finally, you'll learn how to manage the Elastic File System (EFS). This course is one of a collection of courses that prepares learners for the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA-CO1) exam.
