NoSQL databases are designed for the storage of vast unstructured datasets. A crucial part of becoming a certified AWS SysOps Administrator is recognizing which databases to work with and how to deploy them. In this course, you'll begin by distinguishing document and key-value NoSQL databases, before outlining the unique characteristics of DocumentDB and DynamoDB. You'll then deploy DocumentDB and DynamoDB for various purposes using the GUI and CLI. Next, you'll outline the use of ElastiCache and the in-memory data stores Memcached and Redis, before deploying ElastiCache with each of these to boost database performance. Lastly, you'll work with Amazon Redshift for data warehousing and querying.
