In this constantly-connected, do-more-with-less world, being able to increase your productivity is a real advantage. Certified Professional Organizer (CPO[registered]) and productivity expert Tamara Myles has developed a simple model - the Productivity Pyramid - which provides an actionable framework for anyone to achieve better results. Based on a sequence of steps leading to peak performance, the author's easily adapt able system consists of five levels: Physical Organization: from decluttering to filing-fool-proof strategies for handling incoming papers and ensuring information remains accessible; Electronic Organization: from dealing with email to electronic file management options such as cloud computing; Time Management: mastering the three P's-Plan, Prioritize, and Perform; Activity-Goal Alignment: breaking objectives into specific, relevant, and measurable daily tasks; and Possibility: identifying new life and business goals that will help you reach your greatest potential. Since no single solution will work for everyone, The Secret to Peak Productivity helps you tailor your own personal plan. First, a quick assessment determines your strengths and weaknesses and pinpoints where to focus for immediate results. Then, as you reach each productivity level, you will find a range of potential strategies - allowing you to choose the ones that are right for you for truly remarkable results.
About the Author
Tamara Myles, a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO), is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and corporate clients live a life with purpose, enabling them to be all they can and dream of becoming.
Over the years, she has evolved from a hands-on organizer to productivity expert and business consultant. Her business evolution was a direct result of discovering that disarray within one’s electronic and physical space is often a symptom of larger problems. To help her clients, Tamara developed a more comprehensive approach than any that exists on the market or in the literature: a proprietary framework, the Peak Productivity Pyramid™ System. The Peak Productivity Pyramid System starts with physical and electronic organization as building blocks, then looks at time management systems and personal and business goals to increase productivity. Finally, the Peak Productivity Pyramid System challenges clients to create goals that will enhance their businesses and fulfill their lives.
She is a professional speaker and productivity trainer, conducting webinars and in-person training for individual and corporate clients that include Anytime Fitness and Best Buy.
Before starting her own business, Tamara was an advertising executive where she managed exciting projects for several prestigious brands, including CoverGirl, Adidas, Sony Electronics, Lands’ End, Spiegel, and many more. Her experience managing multimillion-dollar advertising projects demanded her inherent organization and productivity skills. During her fast-track career, Tamara was continually praised for her ability to organize space, documents, people, and time lines. Many of her habits became the model for others within her firm to follow, which enabled them to continually exceed client expectations.
As a native of Brazil, Tamara first came to the United States on a college scholarship and graduated from Southern Illinois University, receiving a degree in communications with highest honors. She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and proficient in French and Spanish.
Tamara is a member of the Women’s Business Network of Southeastern Massachusetts (WBNSEMA), Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and NAPO-New England, where she served on the board of directors as vice president.
