About the Authors

Jane R. Flagello, EdD, is an enthusiastic, results-oriented professional with more than 30 years of experience in business and education. She believes that organizations bring about sustainable change and become great places to work when employees learn new ways of interacting with one another. Her coaching focuses on the core domains of communication, team effectiveness, leadership development, conflict resolution, and career management. She has worked with organizations in manufacturing, education, and technology and has assisted entrepreneurs with business startups. She is a senior professor at DeVry University's Addison, Illinois, campus, where her application-oriented teaching style bridges the theory-to-practice gap. Her doctorate is in adult continuing education from Northern Illinois University. She is a certified ontological coach and a certified client facilitator of the Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People program.

Sandra Bernard Dugas, PhD, is a professional executive coach, master trainer, and facilitator. Her successful Lafayette, Louisiana, businesses have garnered national recognition. She serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Human Capital Development PhD Program and the Master of Science in Workforce Training and Development Graduate Program at the University of Southern Mississippi. She also serves as a facilitator in the Training and Development Certificate Program at the Jack and Patti Phillips Workplace Learning and Performance Institute. Through her coaching/facilitating business, Dynamic Adventures, she partners with executives, managers, and teams in Gulf Coast organizations to maximize performance in the workplace. She is an invited presenter and featured speaker for conferences and workshops across the United States. She received her master's and doctoral degrees from Louisiana State University. She is an avid reader, veteran traveler, and dedicated lifelong learner.
