About the Authors
Gus Crosetto is director of Learning and Development for Freddie Mac, the second-largest home mortgage company in the United States. He previously served as a director of Clever Output International, where he was actively engaged in research and consulting in the areas of organizational effectiveness, corporate learning, and leadership. Dr. Crosetto has also held executive positions at organizations including Fannie Mae, Sun Microsystems, Xerox, and the Argentine Air Force. He has been the director of numerous HRD programs, including programs on cultural and leader- ship transformation, management, and employee development. He holds an M.S. degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Applications from American University, and has completed his doctoral studies in Education and Human Development (Ed.D.) at George Washington University.
Jorge Macazaga is an internationally known industrial engineer, and frequent lecturer on the topic of Process-Based Organization, and authority on the subject of reengineering. He is the president and founder of Clever Output, Macazaga & Associates, an organizational consulting firm based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is the author of a technique known as Clever Output Manufacturing. Formerly a director with Ernst & Young, Mr. Macazaga has served as consultant to more than 50 companies of all types and sizes, including Siemens, Robert Bosch, Allied Domecq, Coca-Cola, and Air Liquide. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de B.A. (ITBA).
