About the Author

Michelle Webb, I am a Learning Discipline Manager focused on identifying, creating, and promoting the future of learning at Accenture. At Accenture, our employees are our competitive advantage and as such, it is critical that we develop the capabilities of our workforce in ways that put our people in the best position possible for access. In my position, my major focus areas currently are on learning innovations, blended learning, gamification, business simulations and Design Thinking. I look forward to connecting with you!

Jerry leads the instructional design team, as well as leadership & professional development delivery team and vendor management at Consumers Energy. He has over thirty-five years’ of talent and organizational development experience in a multitude of industries including information technology, retail, government, consulting, automotive and currently, energy utilities. Jerry started his career as an anti-submarine warfare technician in the US Navy, moving from that role to instructor, and ultimately a program development director for the learning command. He has also held positions including instructional designer, e-learning manager, learning architect and Chief Learning Officer. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in instructional design from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Wayne State University, respectively. He also holds certification as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT-ISPI), SPHR, SHRM-SCP and CSSGB. He is a three-time winner of ATD’s BEST award, currently is a member of the ATD Forum Advisory Group, and is the upcoming site host at Consumers Energy’s John G Russell Leadership Center for the Fall (September) 2019 Forum Lab. He is also author of two chapters of the forthcoming, Forum book titled: “Leading Learning for Impact”. When not doing talent development activities, he can either be found restoring his nearly 100 year old home, or racing sailboats on the Great Lakes.
