About the Author
Jeremy J. Siegel, Ph.D., is the Russell E. Palmer Professor of Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. An advisor to the Federal Reserve and many of Wall Street’s leading investment houses, Professor Siegel received his Ph.D. from M.I.T. and taught for four years at the University of Chicago before joining the Wharton faculty in 1976. He has been featured and has written about the economy and financial markets in such noteworthy publications as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, and he is frequently seen on CNBC, CNN, NPR, and national programs such as Wall Street Week.
