About the Authors
Harriet Diamond recently sold Diamond Associates, Multi-Faceted Training and Consulting, a firm she created in 1985. She designed and delivered a full spectrum of programs and services that spanned all areas of oral and written communication, personal development, and management skills. Through those programs, she and her team have motivated and informed staff members, supervisors, and senior executives throughout a broad range of businesses and industries.
The author of six books, Harriet has addressed a variety of audiences on topics related to communication, management, and motivation and served as consultant to two work-related educational series. Her credits include a number of published magazine articles. She received three NJ Author's Awards and several honors, including The New Jersey Business Woman of the Year, Salute to Women Leaders Award, and a NJ Senate Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Adult Education. Harriet currently serves on the Advisory Board of Enterprising Women, a national magazine for established women business owners for which she writes regularly.
Linda Eve Diamond has been in the corporate training business for over a decade, writing, customizing, and designing training materials in all areas of communication. Additionally, she is a contributing author and editor to Executive Writing, Writing the Easy Way, and Grammar in Plain English and has written a number of technical manuals for several industries.
In addition to writing, Linda has been an adjunct professor of writing and reading at Middlesex County College in New Jersey. She has also given talks regarding her work in communication in her role as advisory board member for an organization that helps transition talented lower income teens into successful college careers.
Linda's writing and design of print materials for Diamond Associates earned her an award from the New Jersey Association for Lifelong Learning, and her poetry, which has been published in literary journals, won a small press award.
Currently, she serves on the board of the International Listening Association (ILA) for which she is the editor of The Listening Post, an ILA newsletter publication.
