About the Author
Dr. Patrick Gaughan holds a Ph.D. in economics and is a retired tenured, graduate level, full professor of economics and finance at the College of Business, Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Dr. Gaughan is currently a professor of economics and finance at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China. He is also president of Economatrix Research Associates, Inc. which is an economic and financial consulting firm with offices in New York City, Newark, and Miami. The firm specializes in the application of economics and finance to litigated matters. Through his firm, Dr. Gaughan is often called upon to serve as an economic expert to measure damages in various litigated matters.
