About the Author
Mandhir Verma : Mandhir Verma is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in I.T.S. Engineering College, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Kurukshetra University in 1999, and did his Master of Engineering in Electronics Instrumentation & Control from Thapar University, Patiala in 2005. He has teaching experience of more than nine years in three engineering colleges and is author of four three books. He has published many papers in national and international conferences and attended various conferences and seminars. His areas of current interest include Electrical Machines, Power Electronics and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Yaduvir Singh : Dr. Yaduvir Singh is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation at Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, India. He obtained B.Sc. Engineering Degree from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University) Agra in 1991; Master of Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, University of Allahabad, Allahabad in 1993, Master of Business Management in Marketing Management from Newport University, USA in 1997 and Doctor of Philosophy from Thapar University, Patiala in 2004.
With more than 157 research publications and presentations in various conferences and journals, he has more than sixteen years of teaching and research experience. He has guided more than 55 projects, besides overseeing 48 Masters and Doctoral theses/dissertations. Dr. Singh has already authored five books.
Included in Dr. Singh's research interests are the areas of electrical and electronic systems, intelligent systems design, soft computing, automated control systems, artificial intelligent systems, industrial electronics, robotics, system modeling and identification, graph theory, design of instrumentation systems.
