About the Authors
Amit Sinha is a leader at Deloitte Consulting Enterprise Performance team with 16 years of experience in leading supply chain transformation, enterprise architecture, technology adoption, and organization change management. He has led numerous business transformation projects for global organizations and has authored multiple books and research papers in the areas of supply chain management, integrated business planning, intelligent enterprises, and SCM talent. He is currently leading various initiatives and assignments related to digital supply networks and digital transformations for generating value to the firm, employees, stakeholders, and societies.
Dr. Ednilson Bernardes is a professor and coordinator of the Global Supply Chain Management program at West Virginia University. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Supply Chain Management, and the Journal of Business Logistics. He is associate editor of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
Rafael Calderon is a principal at Deloitte Consulting, U.S. He has 20 years of industry and consulting experience helping global companies drive operations performance through large scale growth and efficiency initiatives. He has worked extensively with global multi-matrixed organizations, helping them become more agile, growth oriented and able to embrace the advent of omni channel while managing operational costs and asset efficiency.
Dr. Thorsten Wuest is an assistant professor at West Virginia University and J. Wayne and Kathy Richards Faculty Fellow in Engineering at the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. His research emphasizes an interdisciplinary and holistic approach towards analysis and optimization.
