About the Author

George Baffour is a mixed-race German Ghanaian and a grandson of the late Dr. Robert Patrick Baffour, OBE, OV, a celebrated Ghanaian engineer and inventor. He holds an MBA With Distinction from Hult International Business School and preceding BSc and MPhil degrees in oceanography and fisheries science, respectively, from the University of Ghana.

George is deeply passionate about science, technology, and innovation. He began his career as an assistant research scientist at Water Research Institute—one of 13 institutes under the Republic of Ghana’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)—before taking on engagements in business and media. During his MBA, he was a winner (Team DUBAInnovators) of the 2015 Emirates NBD Future Intelligence Challenge in Dubai and a global winner (Team 7Sigma) of 3M Invent a New Future Challenge 2016 at 3M Headquarters in Minnesota.

He is the author of the 2018 science-fiction/romance novelette, From Japan With Love Beyond Time. George is also known as an actor, songwriter, and producer—under the stage name, SoulKnight-Jazz—with credits in several Ghanaian and Nigerian film/TV productions.
