I can’t believe it’s already December! This time of year is typically when organizations review Megatrends and design key strategic initiatives for the year ahead. And you, as business leaders may already be thinking about how to prepare and upskill your teams to execute on these initiatives through immersive learning experiences. In this month’s newsletter, we share assets and solutions that will help you do just that.

Monthly Middle Monday Mindful Meditation
Beginning in January, the Leadership and Business Content Team is launching Monthly Middle Monday Mindful Meditation (how's that for alliteration?). MMMMM are 30-minute sessions with Zen meditation practitioner, Florian Brody, where he explains what mindful meditation is, why it's important, and how it can help increase your self-awareness and manage stress. Then Brody will lead attendees through a guided meditation, leaving a few minutes for a Q&A session afterward. Be sure to add these dates to your calendar in order to take advantage of Monthly Middle Monday Mindful Meditation!

December is Universal Human Rights Month. On December 10th, 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations authored the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, detailing our basic human rights and freedoms. Then on December 4th, 1950, the General Assembly invited all member states and organizations to celebrate Human Rights Day. Finally on December 9th, 2001, US President George W. Bush announced the first Human Rights Week, which has since become a month-long holiday celebrated across the world. To commemorate Universal Human Rights Month, Skillsoft’s virtual book club, OFF THE SHELF is featuring a bookshelf of resources that promote equality across different races, religions, beliefs, and cultures.
