Leadership & Business Skills: November 2021 Releases and 90-day Development Plan

November was another busy month for the Skillsoft Leadership and Business content team. We’re pleased to continue to bring you relevant and engaging content designed for the modern, digital learner. From courses and events to digital books and a book club, there’s something for every learner.

Our 2022 Live Events Lineup has been announced! With this series of keynotes, we invite learners to invest their time to further their knowledge and to unleash their edge. Delivered by leading experts, authors, and game-changers alike, our Live Events immerse learners in an experience like no other, bringing teams together to spur innovation and catapult organizations forward. We are delighted to announce the 2022 Skillsoft Live Event lineup, featuring the four thought leaders shown below:

We also continue to release titles into our new 25-course curriculum intended to educate learners about the skills required to become a Senior Professional in Human Resources®, as they prepare for the HRCI® SPHR® certification exam. HR Certification Institute® is the premier credentialing organization for the human resources profession. Available for U.S. operations, the SPHR® certification solidifies one’s credibility as an HR leader. We’ll continue to release courses each month so that the entire 25-course curriculum will be available by January 31, 2021. Find our more in our blog here.

Senior Professional in Human Resources: Introduction to SPHR®

Our new 5-course DEI curriculum has been popular and quite well received. In addition to the English offering, these five courses are now also available in Spanish, French and German. Here's a look at a sampling of the French and German DEI courses, available in the Business Skills offering:

In addition, we are developing another five DEI courses for leaders, expected in late January/early February 2022. See the Business Skills English section in the 90-day development section below for the titles - more to come!

We also continue to build new Aspire Journeys for Business Skills. We've created these journeys for the most in-demand and fastest-growing roles according to robust data collection from Burning Glass. In November we released the following journeys: Marketing Automation Analyst Journey, Merchandiser Journey, Residential Community Manager Journey.

Arabic Business Skills courses are now available on Percipio! In November, we released 25 business skills courses in Arabic, across a variety of skills areas. The courses reflect a full scope of localization, including localized audio, screen text, captions, transcripts, test questions, and resources. See the Content Released section below for a list of the new 25 Business Skills Arabic courses now available on Percipio!

Our Digital Transformation (DT) library has been refreshed! DT expert and award-winning author George Westerman has completed a review of our original DT library and has provided recommendations for improving and modernizing the curriculum. As a result, over the past few months, we have released updates into 42 existing titles in the collection (no change to course title or course ID) and significantly rewritten and re-released 7 of the exiting courses with new titles and new course IDs on SP and Percipio.

The November featured selection in Off the Shelf isCorporations Compassion Culture: Leading Your Business Toward Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by Keesa Schreane. In her book, she explores how to create a compassionate workplace that facilitates diversity and inclusion, as well as gender equality. This book is an essential read for anyone who is committed to changing the landscape of business for the better. This selection is available on Percipio as an audiobook and a book summary.

The December Off the Shelf selection is EMPOWERED! Ordinary People, Extraordinary Products by Marty Cagan and Chris Jones. In this book, the authors discuss how to create product teams that introduce innovation into your company.
