The Corporate Governance Awards are one of the most prestigious awards programs in the compliance industry. The 12th annual awards recognized outstanding achievements in governance, risk and compliance as judged by a panel of experts comprising GRC professionals and members of the Corporate Secretary editorial team. As the winner of the Best Compliance and Ethics Program (small to mid-cap), Comscore was honored for its exceptional coordination of governance, compliance, ethics and risk management processes across its entire corporation.

Comscore’s compliance function needed to transform in order to adequately provide training to 1,500+ employees dispersed across 20 countries. To help achieve this goal, Comscore sought an agile compliance training provider and a centralized learning platform capable of delivering content in a variety of languages in addition to meeting regulations in each country. In 2016, Comscore deployed Skillsoft Compliance content and Skillsoft’s learning platform to consolidate company-wide training on a central learning management system.

This transformation enabled widespread automation of training assignments and the impact has been immensely positive. Corporate Governance Awards winners were recognized at a black-tie gala in New York City on November 21. Nearly 400 leading members of the U.S. governance, risk and compliance community gathered to celebrate the work of the award winners.
