About the Author

Stephen Rock is a change management consultant and the founder of The Brookside Group, an organizational change management consulting firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. Stephen is a hands-on consultant who works with senior leaders to help lead their organizations through transformational change. He focuses on ensuring change sustainability by aligning organizations and processes to the business's strategies. He works with Fortune 1,000-sized companies on reorganizations, transformations, large-scale system implementations (particularly SAP implementations), as well as acquisition integrations.

He is the author of Manager's Guide to Navigating Change which is part of McGraw-Hill's Briefcase Books series. He blogs about his change management consulting experiences on OrgReadiness.com. He is also a frequent speaker on organizational change management. Stephen is currently working primarily as an independent, but frequently draws upon on a network of consultants affiliated with his company. He has worked in a wide variety of industries and has experience managing change management programs on a global scale.
