About the Editor

Elaine Biech is president and managing principal of ebb associates inc, an organization development firm that helps organizations work through large-scale change. Elaine has been in the training and consulting field for over twenty-five years, working with business, government, and nonprofit organizations.

As a management and executive consultant, trainer, and designer, Elaine has provided services to Land O' Lakes, McDonald's, Lands' End, General Casualty Insurance, the IRS, PricewaterhouseCoopers, American Family Insurance, Marathon Oil, Hershey Chocolate, Johnson Wax, the Federal Reserve Bank, the U.S. Navy, NASA, Newport News Shipbuilding, the Kohler Company, ASTD, the American Red Cross, the Association of Independent Certified Public Accountants, the University of Wisconsin, the College of William and Mary, ODU, and numerous other public and private sector organizations to help them prepare for the challenges of the new millennium.
